Was thinking a couple weeks ago - whenever I read or watch someone else's sci-fi or fantasy story, I'm always thinking about what kind of story could be told within that worldbuilding that reflects my own life experience, and what kind of place in that world such a character would have. Frankly, I'd much rather be the villain than not exist in the world at all; at least I'd feel acknowledged.
